Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 21 August 2025
Introduction: Compodium’s commitment to accessibility
At Compodium, we are committed to ensuring our products and services are accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. This includes designing and maintaining our web, mobile, and desktop platforms so that they are usable by everyone. This statement explains:
- How our products conform to accessibility standards
- Known accessibility limitations
- How users can report accessibility issues or request assistance
Accessibility is a legal requirement under the European Accessibility Act (EAA), but it is also central to our mission: building inclusive, user-friendly communication tools. We are committed to continuously improving our products and services to ensure equal access for all.
Accessibility standards applied
We design and test our products in line with:
- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA
- EN 301 549: European accessibility requirements for ICT products and services
- European Accessibility Act (EAA) compliance, effective June 2025
We strive to remain up-to-date with evolving accessibility standards and regulations, implementing improvements whenever feasible with available resources.
Our approach to achieve full conformance
Accessibility is a continuous effort at Compodium. Our approach includes:
- Reviewing features during development to identify and resolve accessibility issues early
- Testing web, mobile, and desktop applications using automated tools and manual evaluation
- Addressing issues identified through audits, user feedback, and internal quality assurance cycles
- Training our teams and maintaining internal documentation on accessibility best practices
- Performing automated accessibility testing with each release of our SaaS platform or new product versions
Accessibility improvements are tracked, prioritized, and reviewed with each product update. We also aim to provide feedback forms accessible within every product.
Known accessibility issues
We actively maintain a log of known issues and work to address them in future updates. Current known issues are:
- Alternative Text for Images and users: Some images may lack descriptive alternative text, which can hinder screen reader users.
- Keyboard Navigation (Compodium.com/Confrere.com): Some interactive elements may not be fully navigable using only a keyboard, limiting access for users with motor disabilities.
- Form Labels (Compodium.com/Confrere.com): Certain form fields may lack clear and descriptive labels, making them difficult for screen reader users to understand.
- Screen readers may occasionally read the wrong language because the
<html lang>attribute does not always update dynamically based on the user’s selected language.
Review schedule
We will continuously review and republish this statement annually , or sooner if there are significant product or regulatory changes that we need to address.
Feedback and contact
We maintain a constant focus on usability, and user feedback is at the core of our product roadmap. That is why we provide feedback forms in every product. Currently, these can be accessed via Vidicue, the Confrere portal, and after all video meetings. Upcoming additions will include SecureAppbox, TDialog, and Compodium Workspace.
If you encounter any accessibility barriers on our website or products, please contact us email: support@compodium.com. We commit to responding promptly and providing accessible alternatives whenever possible.
